Established in 1961 as a County Hospital District, Concho County Hospital is a 16-bed hospital and is designated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as a Critical Access Hospital (CAH).
District Controller Concho County Hospital (CCH), in Eden, Texas is currently seeking a Controller to serve their facility. CCH offers a wide range of services to fulfil their mission of quality healthcare services consistent with the needs of the community while maintaining financial integrity providing for the needs of Concho County residents and the surrounding areas.
Concho County Hospital is a 16-bed general acute care, Critical Access Hospital (CAH) which operates as a hospital district. CCH has been providing care to the region for over 60 years. CCH has been recognized in the recent past for being in the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals in the country for Best Practice in Financial Stability – and on three (3) prior occasions.
CCH provides inpatient and skilled nursing services for the community. Outpatient service includes Observation, Treatment Room, Lab, Radiology, and Computerized Tomography (CT). CCH has a Swingbed program and a Health and Wellness Center. It is a designated Level IV Trauma Facility --- the Emergency Department is open and a provider is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and/or ten plus (10+) years of experience in hospital/healthcare general accounting including some supervisory/personnel management experience. The candidate must have excellent communication, interpersonal skills and be proficient in business office equipment and computers. Knowledge of CPSI is a plus. A working knowledge of rural hospitals, hospital district and Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience is a plus.

Eden is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 83, which extends north to Abilene and south to Junction, and U.S. Highway 87, a link from San Angelo to the northwest and San Antonio to the southeast
