Concho County Hospital is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to become Director of the organization’s therapy services and programs, who is determined and committed to providing patients with the best possible patient experience, in service to our community.
The Ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree (required) Masters or Doctorate (preferred) in physical therapy approved by an accredited organization, be licensed to practice as physical therapist in Texas, possess current CPR certification, have demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills
Day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include the development and maintenance of the outpatient therapy and swing bed programs including conduct of initial and regular patient evaluations and re-evaluations in a timely manner, documentation of outcomes and interpretation of data, and communication to appropriate internal and external partners. The successful candidate will take charge of the facility and ensure that staff are appropriately directed and motivated, that the environment and equipment is clean and safe, participate in departmental and organizational performance improvement activities including the collection and analysis of data, as well as becoming an integral and functional member of the organization’s leadership team contributing to the overall growth and development of the organization.
Concho County Hospital is a 16-bed general acute care (CAH) institution that also operates a Rural Health Clinic and Therapy program as well as the only retail pharmacy in the heart of the West Texas/Concho Valley region. As well as providing inpatient and skilled nursing services, outpatient services include laboratory, imaging and a Level IV trauma designated 24/365 ER.
