About Us
Concho County Hospital (CCH) is a 16-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Central Texas, providing quality healthcare to our rural community with a dedicated, collaborative team. Our moderate-complexity clinical laboratory plays a vital role in patient care, and we’re seeking a qualified PRN technologist or technician to join our team.
Position Summary
The PRN CLS/MT/MLT performs a variety of laboratory tests across multiple departments, ensuring accurate and timely results. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- National certification required (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
- Experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, and Coagulation (Blood Bank & Micro experience helpful but not required).
- Phlebotomy skills required.
- Knowledge of CPSI EMR preferred but not required.
- Strong multitasking ability and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

- Rotating on-call schedule participation.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication for working with staff and providers.
